Pastoral Support

At Fiddlers Lane Primary School, we are dedicated to providing a warm, nurturing environment where every child feels safe, valued and supported. Our pastoral provision sits at the heart of our work, ensuring that pupils’ social, emotional and mental wellbeing is prioritised so they can flourish both academically and personally. We believe that happy, confident children are best placed to succeed, and our pastoral systems are designed to meet the needs of every child across the school community.

Our Pastoral Aims

We aim to:

  • Create a caring, inclusive school culture where all pupils feel a strong sense of belonging.
  • Support children’s emotional wellbeing so they are ready to learn and thrive.
  • Build strong, trusting relationships between pupils, families and staff.
  • Provide early intervention when concerns arise.
  • Ensure every child knows who they can turn to for help, encouragement and guidance.
